ICARP-III Townhall at ICASS VIII
As part of the International Conference on Arctic Research Planning
(ICARP-III) process, a town hall will be held at ICASS VIII. For more
information on ICARP-III see http://icarp.arcticportal.org.
Organized by the International Arctic Science Committee's Social &
Human Sciences Working Group (IASC S&HWG), the town hall will provide
an opportunity to solicit input social scientists, humanities scholars
and other participants at the Congress. This event will also be made
available to individuals who are interested in participating but
cannot do so in person, through 'live-streaming'
Call for Rapporteurs for ICARP Townhall
Two rapporteurs are needed for this town hall. The rapporteurs’
responsibility will be to take notes during the ICARP-III, and then to
submit an edited version of the notes, in the form of a summary
report, to the IASC S&HWG Chair shortly after the end of ICASS VIII.
In return for this service, the rapporteurs’ conference registration
fee will be covered, and a stipend covering accommodations and
[partial] travel costs to ICASS VIII will be provided.
Applicants must be a member of IASSA and have excellent command of the
